We have some exciting news to share with the DashSharing community!

Our parent company, DashCharger Technologies Ltd., was officially announced as a recipient under the Ontario Vehicle Innovation Network (OVIN) R&D Partnership Fund!

The announcement was made by the Hon. Victor Fedeli, Ontario’s Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade, highlighting 15 key projects driving the future of mobility and clean energy across the province.

What This Means for Rural Energy & EV Charging

Through this project, DashCharger—in partnership with EG Energy Management—is demonstrating a smart Distributed Energy Resource (DER) microgrid that combines solar power, battery storage, and EV charging.

Deployed at Pine Point Farms, this system integrates:

Powered by DashCharger’s cloud-hosted Energy Management System (EMS) and predictive machine learning, the project aims to reduce peak grid demand by 50%, supply 80%+ of EV charging directly from on-site renewables, and keep critical infrastructure powered during rural outages.
