How It Works: A Charger Designed for Value
When you install a DashSharing Smart Charger, it is designed to provide tangible benefits from the start:
- Earn a Base Rate on All Energy Delivered
Your charger is configured to earn a base rate for every kilowatt-hour (kWh) it provides. This applies to energy used for your personal vehicle and, if you choose, for other drivers. This base rate is facilitated through carbon credit programs, supporting sustainable energy initiatives. - A Path to Cost Recovery
We have structured a cost recovery model for your initial investment. After your charger has delivered a total of 2,500 kWh of energy (from any combination of private or shared use), the original purchase price is eligible to be refunded to you. - Optional Community Sharing
To further support the network and increase your earnings, you can optionally choose to list your charger for public use. In this mode, you continue to earn the base rate and receive additional session fees from other EV drivers, all while controlling your charger's availability.
